Change: The Only Constant In Life

Hi! Welcome back to my blog! This week, I had my first day of middle school, which was a big change. The campus was new, the teachers were new, the buses were new, and the entire system of teaching was entirely new. On the first day of school, I felt like I didn’t belong there as everything was new and felt so different. On top of all these aspects, I knew almost no one in my class, which was not that great for me.

Personally, I think that Middle School is very different from Elementary School in many ways. There are lockers, different classes, different teachers, more homework and other differences. There is no concept of a single home room class in Middle School as there are just several different classes for different subjects and you have to walk around the school a lot more, from class to class. Another one of the big differences is homework. In Elementary, you have almost no homework, and it’s not a big deal. However, in Middle School, you receive a lot more homework, and it’s a lot more serious.

When I first started Middle School earlier in the week, I was not that excited, since everything was different. However, I soon realized that change is important in life. Even though it might be out of your comfort zone, it’s important to move on. You should embrace change, and accept it. Jack Canfield once said “ Change is inevitable in life. You can either resist it and potentially get run over by it, or you can choose to cooperate with it, adapt to it, and learn how to benefit from it. When you embrace change you will begin to see it as an opportunity for growth “. I personally love that quote, because I think it really explains how important change really is. Even though it might be difficult at first, everything happens for a reason, so you should learn to accept change. I am really looking forward to my middle school I hope that all of you also learn to accept change.
