Hi! Welcome back to my blog! I’m currently in London on vacation with my mom and sister. Today, we went to Cambridge for a day trip so we could see all of the colleges and the beautiful streets. We got to go hunting for Dinky Doors, which was a lot of fun and also got to go punting. In case you don’t know, punting is where you go on a boat and the punter has a long metal pole that goes all the way into the water until it hits the bottom.
The route that they took us through showed us most of the colleges in Cambridge, such as Kings College, Queens College, St. John’s College, Trinity College and more. I was particularly excited about seeing Trinity college as my sister Saanya and I are doing the Trinity College of Music exams in piano and singing.
While seeing all these prestigious colleges, it made me realise how fortunate and lucky I am to have the opportunity for education. Several children in the world don’t have the opportunity to get educated, which is really sad.
Nelson Mandela once said “ Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world “. I completely agree with that and it also shows how education can change people’s lives. My mom and I usually like to support and donate to charities whose focus is education for all children, because it’s a really crucial and important cause. I suggest all of you also donate to these kinds of charities and continue to put your best effort in educating everyone you know in the future.
Wonderful blog, Navya. It conveys a wonderful message
Navya, I fully agree with you. Education provides not only knowledge but , more importantly, a meaningful, comfortable and purposeful life. It is the only tool that can lift people from poverty and avoidable sufferings. Your blog carries a very good message. Congrats.
