Hi! Welcome back to my blog! I’m now back in Singapore after my holiday. I have to say that the trip was absolutely amazing but I am also glad to be home! Anyways, today I am going to be talking about the importance of family.
During the trip, I spent a lot of my time playing with my cousins, Aneesh and Mihika. After dinner, we would go back to the hotel and play for over an hour. All of us played UNO, Spot It, family and more. I absolutely loved spending time with them and having fun. It was so fun to play with them! We were also playing games during the long car rides.
We also did a lot of hikes when we were in Iceland. We hiked in the Skaftafell National Park, Studlagil Canyon, another beautiful canyon that we named Kola Canyon (after a troll!), in the geothermal areas (which were stinky!) and a lot more places. I enjoyed all of these hikes, particularly because my cousins, my sister and I would be together during the hikes. While spending a lot of time with them, it made me realise the importance of family.
Lisa Weed once said “ Being a family means you are a part of something very wonderful. It means you will love and be loved for the rest of your life ”. I absolutely love that quote, and I feel that quote really expresses how strong family’s love truly is. After all, family is the only unit who actually takes care of you and cares for you. They are the ones who help you every step of the way in life. No matter what, at the end of the day, family is the most important thing in the whole wide world. They are able to connect and help you more than anyone else.
Personally, I am so happy with how my family is. I get to meet my cousins, aunt and uncle every 6 months, and we have so much fun, whether we are with each other or 9,947 miles apart. Our family sticks together, and we are always there for each other. After all, family is the most important thing ever, and we should never take them for granted. I suggest you also remember the importance of family in the future.
