Gratitude: A Catalyst For Happiness

Hi! Welcome back to my blog post! This week, I am going to be talking about gratitude. Gratitude is really important, because it helps you realise what you are truly grateful for, and what’s important to you. I am grateful for many things.


One thing I am really grateful for is my family, because they have been such a big part of my life. As I explained in an earlier blog post, family is truly the most important thing in the world. I am really grateful for my family, because they have helped me grow into the person I am today. Another thing I am really grateful for is my friends. As I said in another blog post, friends support you through the good and bad, and are always there to make you laugh and brighten up your day. In fact, since joining middle school, I have made a lot of new friends, which I am really grateful for.


One way I like to express my gratitude is by doing meditation. I do a manifesting meditation everyday; it helps me express my gratitude, and helps me understand what is truly important to me. My mom likes to write in a gratitude journal, which she does almost every other day. Along with writing in a gratitude journal, she likes to meditate everyday, which really helps her.


Amy Collette once said “ Gratitude is a powerful catalyst for happiness. It’s the spark that lights a fire of joy in your soul “. I love that quote, because I think that it really explains how important gratitude really is. Gratitude is really important, because it helps you see the good side of things and makes you appreciate things. It also makes you more happy, because you aren’t focusing on the bad things but on the good things instead. I hope that all of you also realise how important gratitude is , and why you should be appreciative and grateful for everything you have.
